This lecture will introduce students to key concepts of English Grammar and how they can be described and analyzed linguistically. On the basis of Huddleston & Pullum (2021) we will look at parts of speech, phrases, clauses, syntactic patterns, and morphological phenomena.
This lecture is available for 2 LP (final written test, pass/no pass) and 4 LP (final written test, graded). GHR 2 LP (graded) is also based on the final written test.
