This study project will end after the WS21/22, therefore, participation is only possible as part of interdisciplinary credits.
The main goal of this study project is to design, implement and test an English language learning environment incorporating an AI-assisted conversational agent.
So far, we have performed market research to ensure our product provides an in-demand service, identified target users and decided on language topics to be presented via our learning environment. We have implemented a conversational agent in form of a Telegram bot that allows 3-4 users to play our English learning game “Escapeling”.
Our study project has many facets, from implementing natural language models to preparing a testing strategy for evaluating the product prototype.
During this semester we will further implement and test our existing Telegram bot.
